Unsurprisingly, table toppers Manchester City are the Premier League's pass masters.

Sky Blues players account for half of the league's top 10 passers (based on passes completed).

And one of them hit a significant milestone this weekend, surpassing 1,000 passes for the season.

Defensive midfielder Fernandinho took his tally for the season to 1,034 in yesterday's 2-1 win over Huddersfield.

The statistic is all the more impressive given that his pass completion rate is a fantastic 91%.

His team-mates, David Silva and Nicolás Otamendi, are just behind with 976 and 971 passes respectively, while Kevin De Bruyne is on 823 and John Stones 816.

Pep Guardiola's offensive style is based on quick, accurate and fluid passing, but which other teams have players in the top 10?
