Ryan Giggs' combined Manchester United and Manchester City XI has come under fire by supporters of both clubs ahead of Sunday's derby.

The Red Devils legend put the team together for Sky Sports, and included six players from his former club and five from the Citizens.

For the most part fans agreed with some of the choices made by the Welshman.

In goal Giggs opted for David De Gea, while in midfield he selected Kevin De Bruyne, and up front picked Sergio Aguero.

But he also made some questionable choices including selecting Antonio Valencia over Kyle Walker and another that really caught the eye.

Now, to be clear, Marcus Rashford has enjoyed a great season for the Red Devils and has netted eight times in all competitions for the Old Trafford club.

However, he's not quite nailed down a permanent place in the first team, and there is another player - a City player - who is definitely more deserving of a permanent place in a combined XI.

This season Raheem Sterling has come on leaps and bounds at the Etihad, to the point he is one of the first names on Pep Guardiola's teamsheet.

And it seems fans on both sides of Manchester are confused as to why the Englishman has not been named in Giggs' combined XI.
