Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger's feud is set to be the topic of a TV documentary next year.

The pair clashed on many occasions down the years as Manchester United and Arsenal battled for Premier League supremacy.

Their rivalry reached boiling point in 2004 when United ended Arsenal's long unbeaten run at Old Trafford.

The clash has gone down in folklore for scenes after the match when pizza was thrown at Ferguson.

And a programme has been commissioned for the new year to charter the long-standing rivalry, reports the Mail.

The Feud is set to air in March and will feature interviews from a number of players who featured in the classic encounters.

Paul Scholes, Andy Cole and Phil Neville will have their say, as will Lee Dixon, Sol Campbell and Martin Keown.

Keown was involved in another infamous incident between the sides as he mocked Ruud van Nistelrooy following his penalty miss.

The relationship between Wenger and Ferguson has improved over the years, largely since the Scot's retirement.

Wenger invited Ferguson to the Emirates this season as Arsenal faced son Darren's Doncaster side.

Wenger said: “Sport is very good in that you fight against each other and with respect. He was a big personality in the Premier League."
