Tottenham have suffered a major blow ahead of Saturday's showdown with Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Star striker Harry Kane is a huge doubt for the clash because of a hamstring injury.

Kane is under intensive treatment but it seems he is fighting a losing battle.

He has been the spearhead of Spurs challenge in the Premier League and the Champions League.

He was left out of the squad for Wednesday night's Carabao Cup defeat to West Ham and it now appears Fernando Llorente will lead the line against United.

There is a danger Kane could also miss the Champions League battle with Real Madrid.

"We'll see, we'll see," Mauricio Pochettino told beIN Sports when asked about Kane's fitness. "We need to assess the team because we were forced to rotate [against West Ham] for different reasons and we'll see what happens in the next few days."

The 24-year-old has smashed 17 goals in his last 13 games for club and country.
