Twitter's users have been left baffled as to why, seven years after Aaron Ramsey broke his leg in two places at the Bet 365 stadium (then Britannia Stadium), the Welshman is still being booed.

Despite winning 3-1 during their visit in February 2010, Arsenal departed on a sour note after the then teenager's horrific injury.

A rash tackle from Ryan Shawcross led to a double break in Ramsey's right leg and a red card for the Potters defender.

Shawcross departed the pitch in tears.

The midfielder took some time to recover and went on loan to Nottingham Forest and Cardiff to regain his pre-injury form and fitness.

Ramsey never looked back when he rejoined Arsneal. However, Stoke fans haven't let the Wales international forget that night by booing him at every visit since.
