Manchester United look to have given away the squad number for new signing Victor Lindelof next season.

Lindelof completed his £31million move from Benfica to Old Trafford last month when he became Jose Mourinho's first signing of the summer.

The Swedish international is relishing the chance to make his debut for the Reds and Mourinho is expecting big things from the 22-year-old who earned rave reviews for the Portuguese giants last season.

Lindelof met up with his new team-mates last week when they returned for the start of pre-season training and will get to them know even more when they spend time together on their tour to America.

Victor Lindelof has the number two on his bag

The United squad flew out on Sunday from Manchester Airport to Los Angeles and United's media team were on hand to capture the players departing England.

But they look to have inadvertently given away Lindelof's squad number as all the players boarded the plane with their bags and their number on it.

The talented defender could be seen with the number two on his bag which would make sense as the shirt was vacant last season.

Lindelof will not have to wait to much longer before making his United debut as Jose Mourinho's side play their first game against LA Galaxy next Saturday, in the first of five matches in the United States.

United will also face Real Salt Lake, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona.
