West Ham got their season up and running by ending Huddersfield's immaculate start at the London Stadium.
The Hammers, playing their first home game of the Premier League season, had second half goals from Pedro Obiang and Andre Ayew to thank for the victory.
Obiang's shot cannoned off the back of unfortunate defender Zanka to give the hosts the lead, which was also the first goal that Huddersfield conceded all season.
A goalmouth scramble led to Ayew being able to poke home the game's deciding goal shortly afterwards.
