Zlatan Ibrahimovic proved his once injured knee is in perfect working order ahead of a reported return to Manchester United.

The 35-year-old was a key part of the Red Devils' Europa League winning side last season, but had his campaign cut short when he damaged his cruciate ligament in a win over Anderlecht.

It was feared he might never play again, given his age, but the Swede began his rehabilitation at United's Carrington training ground and slowly but surely recovered from the injury.

He is now reportedly set to re-sign for the Red Devils this week, as Jose Mourinho believes he would provide brilliant cover for Romelu Lukaku.

Ibrahimovic's previous one-year contract at United expired at the end of last season, and there was talk he may move to the MLS.

But it seems the Swede has his heart set on wearing Man United red once again, after the club allowed him to recover at their training ground, despite him no longer being employed there.

The former PSG striker took to social media on Sunday to provide an update on his fitness, but instead of explaining he is better with words, opted for actions instead.

He uploaded a short video of himself - alongside the caption "which knee?" - kicking a heavy bag with both legs to prove there are no lasting effects caused by the injury.
