Premier League stars are flocking to a tiny High Street barber next door to a kebab shop to get their hair styled .

Self-taught Ahmed Alsanawi is the man behind Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba's unique look.

He also does everyone from David Luis and Cesc Fabregas to Radamel Falcao and and Diego Costa.

Indeed, A Star Barbers in Chessington, Surrey, boasts a high-class clientele that also includes Victor Lindelof, Nemanja Matic and Thibaut Courtois.

Alsanawi is so in demand, he even flew out to Barcelona this week to cut Man City star Ben Mendy's hair.

His secret to his success appears to have been getting in early with the Chelsea youth team - and his reputation spreading via word-of-mouth.

Many of his satisfied clients appear to stay loyal to him even when they switch clubs.

Even former England captain John Terry still goes back to get his hair done there.

Alsanawi, 26, told The Sun : "All the lads talk if you’re a good barber.

"At the beginning coming into Chelsea it was very exciting, I’m a Chelsea fan.

"Seeing the likes of John Terry, Eden Hazard and Petr Cech I was like 'wow'.

"Because I’ve been doing it for three years now I treat it as normal and you don’t really feel under pressure.

"But when you get your star footballers, the Pogbas or Edens you only get once chance - if they like it great, if they don’t they ain’t coming back."

As well as trimming hair to the footballing world's star's at his shop in Surrey, Alsanawi regularly travels to Chelsea's Cobham HQ.

And he is understood to now travel to Manchester to help Pogba stay in 'trim' - who he says he has styled "four or five times now".

Alsanawi, who plays Sunday League himself, added: "I’m getting to know him a bit more. I don’t really get star struck - I’m thinking about the hair cut.

"After, if he’s shared it because he likes it, I think 'wow I’ve done that on Paul Pogba', that that’s when I pat myself on the back."
