Alexis Sanchez has not travelled with the Arsenal squad for today’s trip to Bournemouth.

That signals that Sanchez could be on the move imminently with Manchester United now red-hot favourites to sign the Arsenal forward.

It is understood that United are willing to pay Arsenal around £30m, give Sanchez a huge signing-on fee and a bigger contract - worth around £400,000-a-week - than Manchester City.

Sanchez’s representatives will also get a huge package with United pulling out all of the stops to beat City to his signature.

Chile star Sanchez trained on Saturday and is not injured with his absence purely down to him being set to move.

Arsenal players believe that Sanchez is on his way to Old Trafford in the next few days.

Sanchez, 29, only has six months left on his contract and will not re-sign which has left Arsenal keen to sell now and get moving on their plans.

Arsenal are targeting Bordeaux’s Brazilian forward Malcom as Sanchez’s replacement as they look to do a £35m deal.

United are also willing to offer Henrikh Mkhitaryan in any deal for Sanchez.
