Arsenal midfielder Savvas Mourgos has moved on from the Emirates to the Championship.

The Gunners announced his permanent move to Norwich City on Tuesday.

Savvas landed at Arsenal from Greek club Panionios in 2014 before signing his first professional contract with the club in April last year.

A Greece youth international, he appeared five times for the Gunners under-23s last campaign and was a mainstay in the under-18s.

"We'd like to thanks Savvas for his contribution and to wish him well for the future," the club said.

Norwich said the contract runs to June 2019 with a one-year option.

"Mourgos, who was born in Amarousio, Greece, will train with City’s Under-23s team, who play against Stoke in the PL2 on Friday evening," the statement said.
