Here are all the latest Gunners stories from today's Sunday Mirror and Sunday People...

Sanchez could miss season start

Alexis Sanchez could miss the beginning of next season, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed.

The 26-year-old will play for Chile in this summer's Copa America and, depending on how far his team gets in the tournament, Sanchez could be unavailable for the start of the 2015-16 campaign.

The South American competition gets underway on 11 June and finishes in 4 July - just 11 days before Arsenal kick off their pre-season preparations in Asia.

"If they [Chile] go very far, he will miss the start of the season," said Wenger.

Arsenal have an arrangement with the Chile national team which means they can't call Sanchez up before the FA Cup final on 30 May.

The attacker has starred for Wenger's side since joining from Barcelona for £32m last summer.

He has netted 18 goals for the club this season and was shortlisted for the PFA Player of the Year award - a prize eventually won by Eden Hazard.

Wilshere facing Under-21s snub

Arsene Wenger has given Jack Wilshere the green light to play for England’s juniors this summer – only Gareth Southgate does not want him, writes Neil Moxley in the Sunday People.

Arsenal boss Wenger admitted that his injury-plagued midfielder should travel with the country’s Under-21 side to the Czech Republic to battle it out for the European Championship.

But it appears Southgate will try to lift the crown without his senior-capped but still U21 eligible players after vowing to stand by the group which qualified.

There is every chance Wilshere, 23, could be selected instead for Roy Hodgson’s squad to face Ireland and Slovenia – but there is no guarantee he will receive any much-needed game-time in the Dublin friendly or Euro 2016 qualifier in Ljublijana

Asked directly whether Wilshere should travel to the U21 finals, Wenger replied: “Yes, because he needs competition.

“I am careful with him, but I believe he will play before the end of the season. He is getting stronger."

Barcelona in Bellerin bid

Hector Bellerin has emerged as a target for Barcelona - whose transfer embargo is lifted in January, writes Tom Hopkinson in the Sunday People.

Arsenal star Bellerin has been added to a list of right-backs that Barca are tracking.

The club are on the lookout for Dani Alves’ long-term successor - the Brazilian turns 32 this week and is out of contract this summer - and a move to take Bellerin back to the Nou Camp will be considered.

Bellerin, the speediest player at the Gunners, moved to the Emirates from Barelona four years ago at just 16 after spending eight years in the Nou Camp academy.

Arsenal have reportedly opened talks with Barcelona over a possible loan move to the Emirates for Munir El Haddadi, reports the Metro.

The 19-year-old starlet has grown frustrated with his lack of opportunities at the Nou Camp this season.

With Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi firing on all cylinders, he has found game time difficult to come by in Catalonia.

Munir has made just seven La Liga starts this campaign.

Arsenal are certain that Petr Cech will join the club at the end of the season, according to the Daily Mail.

The goalkeeper wants to leave Chelsea as he has fallen behind Thibaut Courtois in the Stamford Bridge pecking order.

Cech praised Courtois in March but said he doesn't want to remain as the club's No2 stopper.

"It looks like it works well with me and Thibaut as a duo," he said. "But that can work for one season only. I don't want another one like this."
