According to ESPN , the Arsenal boss is weighing up a move for the Croatian midfielder as he continues his revamp of his squad.
Wenger is reportedly keen to bolster his options in midfield ahead of the new campaign and Brozovic has been catching his attention for some time.
Arsenal scouts allegedly watched him in international action on numerous occasions during last season.
Inter are said to be prepared to listen to offers for the 24-year-old.

Arsenal will demand £80million for Alexis Sanchez as Manchester City prepare to make the first official offer.
City chiefs will table an opening bid of £50m for the Chile international who only has a year left on his contract at the Emirates.
According to sources close to the player, Arsenal - who have offered him a £300,00-a-week two-year contract - have now been told that Sanchez wants out.
But the Gunners hierarchy will stand firm on their valuation and run the risk of him leaving on a free transfer next summer.
While Wenger has been adamant that Sanchez will not be allowed to join a Premier League rival, City are bolstered by the belief that the player is keen to link up again with Pep Guardiola.
Arsenal starlet joins German side
Arsenal wonderkid Kaylen Hinds has joined Wolfsburg for £2m.
Striker Hinds has signed a three year deal with the Bundesliga outfit - to keep him at the club until 2020.
Hinds spent the second half of last season at League Two Stevenage - where he played 13 times.
The 19-year-old signed a professional contract at the Gunners in February 2015 but failed to make a first team appearance.
Speedy Hinds was a mainstay in the Arsenal youth sides and has played for England at Under-16 ,17 and 18 age groups.
Hinds will wear the No.32 shirt at the Wolves.
