Arsenal have suffered a major setback in the race for Thomas Lemar - as they will now reportedly be facing off with Barcelona for his signature.

The Monaco midfielder is one of the Gunners top transfer targets for the summer.

Arsenal are believed to have already had one bid turned down for Lemar, but the deal is set to get a whole lot more complicated.

L'Equipe claim that Spanish giants Barcelona are eyeing a move for Lemar as they look to bolster their midfield ahead of the new season.

It could mean that Lemar's £30million price tag is ramped up as Monaco look to cash in on one of their star men.
