Arsenal could be a surprise suitor for Marouane Fellaini if he's allowed to leave Manchester United at the end of the season.

It's no secret that United are trying to pen a new deal with the big Belgian but he's playing hard ball and could run down his contract and leave Old Trafford on a free.

The Express reckon Arsene Wenger is keen to snap up his services and add some bulk to his midfield.

A number of clubs are interested in Fellaini, including Arsenal, along with Inter Milan and Besiktas.

Whether the Gunners could offer what Fellaini really seems to want though - more money and playing time.

As the Mirror report in Thursday's paper, United are optimistic they will be able to come to an arrangement with the 29-year-old.
