Barcelona are reportedly ready to increase their offer for Philippe Coutinho to £130million.

Liverpool have turned down three bids from the Catalan giants for the Brazilian, who has handed in a transfer request at Anfield.

The Reds have maintained he is not for sale but Barca are preparing a fourth bid.

The Sunday Express reports Barca are willing to up their offer to £130m, with a large chunk paid up front.

Will that tempt Liverpool to do a deal?

Three-way battle for Draxler

Premier League big boys Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool are all ready to try and snatch Julian Draxler from Paris Saint-Germain, writes John Richardson.

The 23-year-old attacking midfielder has surprisingly been put up for sale by the French giants as they prepare to add Monaco’s £160 million wonder kid Kylian Mbappe to their squad just a few weeks after the £198million world record capture of Neymar.

Draxler who only joined PSG in January from Wolfsburg for £40million will be allowed to leave for around £32 million — a bargain in today’s crazy transfer market.

His availability and knock down price has quickly alerted Gunners boss Arsene Wenger who has followed the German international’s progress since breaking into Schalke’s side at the age of 17.

Klopp provides Coutinho update

Jurgen Klopp confirmed Philippe Coutinho is still nursing a back injury after he missed Liverpool's 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The Brazilian was the subject of a massive £118million bid from Barcelona this week, and has his heart set on a move after handing in a transfer request.

Coutinho missed Liverpool's opening game of the new season, a 3-3 draw with Watford, and didn't feature at Anfield this weekend, reports the Liverpool Echo.

But Klopp insisted there was no change to the physical condition of the player - the reason for him missing his second game in two weeks.
