Bojan Krkic wants to return to Stoke for a fresh start after Mark Hughes’ departure.

Stoke star Bojan, 27, is still a huge favourite among the fans but Hughes loaned him out to Spanish club Alaves last summer.

Former Barcelona forward Bojan still has an excellent record at Stoke and scored a stunning goal for Alaves against Getafe in the Copa Del Rey in November to underline he still believes he has top quality ability.

Stoke’s forward Jese Rodriguez is expected to go to Las Palmas this month after an unhappy time in the Premier League.

That could open the door for Bojan to return to Stoke which would be a hugely popular move among the supporters.

Former West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is the bookies’ red-hot favourite to become the next Stoke boss with Eddie Niedzwiecki in temporary charge.
