Chelsea are ready to make Eden Hazard the Premier League's highest-paid player in a bid to keep him out of Real Madrid's clutches.

The Belgian recaptured his best form as the Blues romped to the title in Antonio Conte's first season in English football.

Hazard's exploits have not gone unnoticed, with Champions League winners Real Madrid hot on his heels.

However, the 26-year-old is understood to be happy at Stamford Bridge, and the Blues are ready to reward him with a bumper new deal.

The Express claim Hazard is in line for an offer in the region of £320,00-per-week as Chelsea aim to tie down one of their star men.
