Chelsea are ready to push through a £50m January deal for Juventus full back Alex Sandro.

Antonio Conte has prioritised bringing in the 26-year-old who Chelsea tried to get last summer but they have gone back in hard for the Brazilian.

Chelsea know they face competition from Manchester United and have made their move to try and get him ahead of Jose Mourinho.

Juventus are ready to do business on Sandro despite having fought to keep him in August and the Italian giants are looking at replacements with Bayer Leverkusen’s Brazilian Wendell on their hit-list.

Chelsea boss Conte is determined to be busy as he looks to bolster the club’s squad for the Premier League but also mounting fixtures in the domestic cups and Champions League.

Chelsea’s hierarchy are also looking to do a deal for a striker with them looking at loan this month if they cannot get a big name to back up Alvaro Morata.

That should get them through to the summer while they are also in for Everton’s Ross Barkley but Tottenham remain favourites if he moves in January.

But it is believed that Chelsea have already made moves for Sandro for this month and if they get their man then it would only heighten the chances of United signing Tottenham's Danny Rose.
