Loic Remy has finally left Chelsea after signing a two-year deal with Las Palmas.

The French striker completed a move on Friday night, hours before the Spanish transfer deadline passed.

The former QPR striker has started only nine Premier League games since signing for Chelsea in August 2014 and went on loan to Crystal Palace last season.

The former France international's £80,000-per-week wages had proved a sticking point for suitors.

But the Blues appear to have finally found a buyer with just hours let in the window.

The 30-year-old endured a miserable loan spell at Crystal Palace last term, failing to score after after picking up a knee injury.

Remy joined the Blues in 2014, but has played just 32 times in the Premier League, scoring eight goals.

His finest moment came away to Hull in the 2014/15, with the Blues drawing 2-2, he came on to score the winner and send his side on their way to winning the title.
