Jason Denayer has turned down Brendan Rodgers to re-sign for Galatasaray on loan from Manchester City.
Denayer, 22, has yet to play a senior game for City and was wanted back at Celtic Park by Rodgers, where he played during the 2014-15 season.
But the centre-half, who made 24 Premier League appearances on loan at Sunderland last season, has snubbed Celtic to return to Gala, where he spent the 2015-16 season on loan.
The Belgian stopper was in demand and also had offers from France and Russia.
Meanwhile, Denayer’s City team-mate Toisin Adarabioyo is set to join Sunderland on loan.
The 19-year-old home-grown defender has struggled to make an impact at City and has been restricted to four appearances.
