Out of favour Liverpool striker Divock Origi could be set to join Tottenham, according to the player's father.

The Belgian international has yet to start a single game for Jurgen Klopp's side this season, leading to rumours he could be set for a move away from Anfield.

Tottenham targeted the 22-year-old in 2014, but Liverpool pipped them to his signature, following his impressive performances at the 2014 World Cup.

Origi's only football this season has come in a cameo off the bench against Watford and Klopp refused to rule out the prospect of the striker moving following the Reds' 4-0 win over Arsenal at the weekend.

“Divock has to leave Liverpool to get more playing time,” Origi's father Mike told DH.be. “Tottenham is a possibility, but there is also interest from France and Germany.”

Spurs have so far signed only Davinson Sanchez and Paulo Gazzangia this summer, with Mauricio Pochettino admiting he wants to add three more players before tomorrow's deadline.
