Everton are reportedly eyeing a move for West Brom defender Jonny Evans.

Arsenal, Leicester and Manchester City were all keen on Evans in the summer but he stayed at the Hawthorns.

The Sun reports Everton will test his resolve in January as they look to add legs to their backline.

The Toffees have struggled defensively this term with the ageing Phil Jagielka and Ashley Williams in the firing line.

Would Evans shore things up?
