Liverpool striker Divock Origi has joined Wolfsburg on loan until the end of the season.

The Belgian international has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield and was desperate for regular first-team football.

Roberto Firmino, Daniel Sturridge and summer arrival Dominic Solanke are all ahead of him at the club.

Now the 22 year-old has inked a move to the Bundesliga club - who are paying £6million to take him for the season.

They will also pay his wages for the duration of his time in Germany.

Origi made just 21 Premier League starts for the Reds since his £10million move from Lille in 2014.

He has scored 21 goals in all competitions and has been given the green light to leave on a temporary basis.

His only appearance for the Reds this term came in the 3-3 draw at Watford.
