Liverpool have been told by Borussia Dortmund to stump up £18m if they want to sign super talent Emre Mor.

Jurgen Klopp has been linked with a move for the Turkish winger, but the interest was initially for a loan move.

The 20-year-old will only be released in a permanent deal, according to Bild, with a fee that would represent more than double the fee (£8.3m) paid in 2016 to Nordsjaelland.

The Reds will face stiff competition for the super talent, with Celta Vigo, Fenerbahce and Wolfsburg all thought to be considering a move.

Jamie Carragher expects Philippe Coutinho to stay put at Liverpool – despite Barcelona's attempts to prise him away from Anfield.

“When he signed his five-year deal, I didn't think that he would see it out.

“There is no doubt that at one stage in his career Philippe will want to play for one of the Spanish giants as many of the South American players do.

Will Liverpool sign Naby Keita or won't they?

It's the transfer story that has dragged on and on for what feels like forever, and it seems, despite all the leg-work, the Reds are no closer to landing their man.

Jurgen Klopp has seen two bids for the Guinea international - one worth £57million and an improved offer of £66million - rejected by RB Leipzig.

And the German has all but given up hope of trying to sign the 22-year-old in this transfer window, instead opting to target him again next season.
