Arsenal have been accused of pricing Lucas Perez out of a move away with the Gunners striker out of favour under Arsene Wenger.

The 28-year-old only moved to the Emirates last year, for £17.5m from Deportivo La Coruna, but after just one Premier League goal, an early exit looms.

Arsene Wenger stripped him of his No.9 shirt, handing it to record signing Alexandre Lacazette, casting doubt on the Spaniard's future and his agent, Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle, has revealed the current situation.

“Lucas wants to play but it depends on Arsenal,” Lovelle told Goal.

“Arsenal want more [money]. We want to leave but if there is no agreement he has a contract with Arsenal. The ideal price is about €12m [£10.8m].”

Perez has a contract until 2020 and the only bid so far has come from Deportivo, thought to be £9m, plus £1.8m in bonuses.

Arsenal want to recoup £13.5m, with Fenerbahce and Newcastle also thought to be interested.
