Sam Johnstone is at the centre of a three-way Premier League fight between West Brom, West Ham and Crystal Palace.

Manchester United goalkeeper Johnstone, 24, is currently midway through his second loan spell at Aston Villa.

But the £5m rated stopper has the option to cut short the season-long agreement and secure a permanent move next month.

West Brom are eyeing Johnstone as they want more competition for No.1 Ben Foster.

West Ham are keen with one eye on next season when loanee Joe Hart returns to Manchester City.

At Palace, Wayne Hennessey's deal is up next summer and they are in the market for a replacemenT.

Meanwhile, Villa boss Steve Bruce hasn't given up hope of turning Johnstone's temporary stay into a permanent one declaring this month "he’s a very, very good young goalkeeper and we’ll do our best to keep him.”
