Manchester United have signed Charlton teenager Largie Ramazani on a scholarship contract.

The 16-year-old, who was born in Burundi, is believed to be one of five new signings at the United academy this summer.

Images have emerged of Ramazani at the club's Carrington training complex after completing the move, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Ramazani is believed to be one of five signings, with Northern Ireland international Ethan Galbraith and Aliou Traore from Paris Saint-Germain two other additions.

United arranged for former striker Andy Cole to greet the new scholars as they signed their forms at Carrington on Sunday.

Cole, who has had health issues in the last couple of years, posed with the players as they signed their scholarships with Under-18s coach Kieran McKenna.

Dylan Levitt and Jacob Carney's relatives confirmed they had signed forms with the club on social media.

Angel Gomes was included among the eight first-year scholars last year, alongside Aidan Barlow, Lee O'Connor, Luca Ercolani, George Tanner, Harry Spratt, Max Dunne and Jake Barrett.

After a trying 2015-16 United finished last season second in the Premier League U18 North behind Manchester City. A progressive campaign under McKenna was only blemished by a shock elimination from the FA Youth Cup at the first hurdle against Southampton.
