Manchester United are looking to make a renewed bid for Ivan Perisic, according to reports.

Sky Italia reports that Inter Milan are eager to get full value for the Croatian winger and want £48million.

That sort of figure is certainly within the club’s means should Jose Mourinho want to go through with a move for the 28-year-old - and all indications are that he does.

Perisic is said to have turned down a new Inter deal and has further angered his current club by moonlighting in a beach volleyball tournament.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is "the bravest person in football," that's according to former Real Madrid and Liverpool defender Alvaro Arbeloa.

The Red Devils manager signed the Spanish full-back from the Reds during his time at the Bernabeu.

Arbeloa, speaking to Spanish newspaper AS, heaped praise on the Portuguese and insists he will be pleased with his first year in charge at Old Trafford.

"I think the bravest person I've met in football is Mourinho. He has to be happy with the year he's had at [Manchester] United," Arbeloa told AS.
