Leonardo Jardim believes Kylian Mbappe will make the "best decision" about his Monaco future.

The teenager is the hottest property in world football after a stunning season.

Real Madrid have been heavily linked while Arsenal are preparing a £125m bid - as Sunday Mirror Sport revealed.

Jardim hopes the lure of Champions League football will keep him with Monaco for another season at least.

"I think the club and he will make the best decision," he told RMC Sport.

"I have not spoken to him, because he knows how we work, that we want to keep him."

Monaco face losing a host of star players to the Premier League this summer, with Bernardo Silva having already signed for Manchester City.

He could be joined at the Etihad by Benjamin Mendy, while Chelsea are closing in on Tiemoue Bakayoko.

Arsenal and Spurs have been linked with Thomas Lemar while Fabinho has attracted interest from Manchester United.

Jardim expects changes this summer but insists the club will maintain their strategy of developing young stars.

"I hope to keep the right players. It is not just me, all the coaches of the world [would] like to keep the best players," he added.

"But with the Monaco project, maybe it's not possible to always keep the best.

"Everyone knows our project. Nothing changed. The project is the same."
