Paris Saint-Germain want to sign Jean Michael Seri to "f***" Barca", according to the Nice midfielder's agent.
Liverpool and Arsenal are both keen on Seri, but Barcelona have jumped to the front of the queue as they look to splash some of the cash from Neymar's transfer to PSG.
The Catalans have yet to wrap up a deal for the 26-year-old Ivorian, and that has allowed the Parisians to join the chase.
"It was possible to reach an agreement as Barcelona and Nice were negotiating," Seri's agent Franklin Mala told RAC1.
"On Tuesday, they were in France, talking about technical aspects but they already knew Seri's capabilities.
"PSG came three days ago. Now PSG is putting pressure on the club to take the player, it's crazy. They just want to do it to f*** Barca."
The two clubs have been at odds this summer after PSG refused to sell midfielder Marco Verratti to the Spanish giants.
PSG then triggered Neymar's buyout clause to take the Samba Boy to the Parc des Princes.
