Riyad Mahrez is reportedly becoming a late transfer target for Manchester United.

The Leicester winger, who handed in a transfer request earlier this summer, has just two days to complete a move away from the King Power Stadium.

According to SFR Sport , Mahrez is now on Jose Mourinho's radar - but other United chiefs are not 100 per cent convinced he would be a good signing.

United have failed in attempts to bring in another winger in Ivan Perisic to Old Trafford this summer, with the Croatian opting to remain at Inter Milan.

It is appearing increasingly likely that Mahrez will remain at Leicester.

Serge Aurier has reportedly not given up hope of moving to Manchester United despite Paris Saint-Germain accepting a bid from Tottenham.

The Ivorian right-back is awaiting a work permit before sealing a move to Spurs but SFR Sport claims he would rather go to United, who were keen earlier this summer.

Aurier's £23million move to Tottenham is now, it is reported, in doubt.

Mauricio Pochettino is desperate to sign a new right-back to replace the departed Kyle Walker and this would prove a huge blow to his plans.

5 United players who could yet leave

Some youngsters are playing for their futures at Old Trafford

Manchester United have enjoyed a solid summer's work in the transfer market but may well dip into the kitty once again before the deadline on August 31.

Jose Mourinho has been productive in integrating youth players into the first team

While a depth of talent within the first team is a boon for the manager in his second season, it leaves few minutes available for the youngsters coming through the ranks.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Regan Poole, Sam Johnstone, Devonte Redmond and Dean Henderson have already departed on loan in a bid to bulk up their first team minutes.

But there are question marks around others who need a sterner challenge than the risible Premier League 2 fixture calendar, report the Manchester Evening News.

Here are five names who are playing for their future.
