Swansea are looking to do a cut-price deal for Manchester City misfit Wilfried Bony.

Ivory Coast international Bony could return to south Wales, two and a half years after leaving for City in a £30million deal.

Bony has struggled badly over the past 12 months and finished last season with an unsuccessful loan at Stoke.

Now Swansea want to do a cut price deal to bring him back.

The Swans are also closing in on a £15m deal for West Brom midfielder Nacer Chadli.

And that will clear the way for Gylfi Sigurdsson to complete his £50m move to Everton this week.

Swansea boss Paul Clement desperately wants to use the Sigurdsson money to reinvest in his squad as he looks for reinforcements.

Clement has been concerned the Sigurdsson saga has been a distraction ahead of a difficult season with the Icelandic midfielder desperate to go to Everton.

But they have held talks with West Brom over Chadli who has fallen out with Baggies boss Tony Pulis and was left on the bench for their opening day win over Bournemouth.

Swansea have also enquired about former midfielder Joe Allen but Stoke do not want to sell the Wales midfielder.
