Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has reportedly shelved contract talks until the end of the season as he strews over his Gunners future.

England flier Walcott has 18 months remaining on his current deal and Everton, West Ham and Southampton are all interested in his services, according to The Sun.

Walcott hasn't featured for Arsenal in the Premier League since October 1 and is one of six players whose contracts expire at the end of next season.

And The Times say he will not enter into negotiations until next summer.

Giroud plotting London loan move

Arsene Wenger is set to lose Olivier Giroud next month – putting West Ham and Crystal Palace on alert.

The Arsenal boss persuaded Giroud that his future lay in north London as a game of cat and mouse unfolded before the summer transfer window closed.

The France international was wanted by Everton and a £40million deal had virtually been signed off, until Wenger intervened.

However, Giroud’s World Cup place is now under threat as the 31-year-old is not playing regular first-team football and has not started in the Premier League this season.

With a glut of forwards available to France coach Didier Deschamps, Giroud cannot take the chance of missing out on potentially his last finals.

The striker’s wife Jennifer is also expecting their third child and they are settled in London – so that rules out a switch to Merseyside.

Wilshere admits desperation to return to starting XI

Jack Wilshere is doing his best to give boss Arsene Wenger a real headache.

That’s because the Arsenal midfielder – fighting fit after his latest injury – wants his Premier League place back.

Incredibly, the England international has been injured for more than 1,000 days in his senior career and has missed 155 games.

But Wilshere, who turns 26 on New Year’s Day, has been outstanding for Wenger’s Gunners in their impressive Europa League run that has taken them into the knockout stages.

Against BATE Borisov on Thursday, Wilshere was almost unplayable.

He scored a stunner in the 6-0 drubbing and ran the show, but now he wants the chance to show it at league level.
