Liverpool are reportedly ready to sell Divock Origi to Tottenham before the transfer window slams shut this week.

The Belgian striker has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield this season, failing to make the matchday squad for Wednesday's win over Hoffenheim which saw the Reds seal their place in the Champions League group stage.

And the Sun say Spurs could be ready to land the 22-year-old as a replacement for misfiring Vincent Janssen who is up for sale.

Origi is keen to ensure he plays regular football this season to ensure he makes it to the World Cup next summer.

With Robert Firmino, Daniel Sturridge and Dominic Solanke all being preferred to Origi by Klopp so far this season, he may find first-team minutes hard to come by at Anfield.

Liverpool set to miss out on Ox to Chelsea

Arsenal will sell Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Chelsea this week — because they consider Liverpool too much of a threat to their top-four hopes.

Chelsea are willing to pay £40million for the Gunners' midfield star, who is also wanted by Kop manager Jurgen Klopp.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger does not want Oxlade-Chamberlain to leave, but the England ace is determined to quit the Emirates before the window closes.

Wenger sees Chelsea as serious title challengers, with or without the Ox, but reckons Liverpool could struggle to push for a top-four slot with Champions League fixtures to negotiate and does not want to strengthen their chances.

Champions Chelsea are willing to meet Arsenal’s asking price for a player who has turned down a £180,000-a-week contract offer in the past few days.

Solanke fee heading for tribunal

Chelsea and Liverpool look to be heading for a tribunal over the cost of Dominic Solanke — with the two clubs still well apart in their valuations for the young striker.

The Blues are demanding around £10million for the 19-year-old, who moved to Anfield in this summer after running down his contract at Stamford Bridge.

Liverpool believe he should cost around £3m and, with neither club budging, a tribunal is now the most likely outcome.

Chelsea are due a compensatory figure for developing Solanke, who quit the Blues because he believed he would get more game-time at Anfield.
