Arsenal fans are obviously delighted about this week's capture of Alexandre Lacazette, but the looming spectre of Alexis Sanchez leaving the club refuses to go away.
The Chilean's future has been a hot topic all summer, and this week it was revealed that he wants a staggering £400,000 a week if he is to stay at the Gunners - an increase of £125,000 a week on the current offer on the table.
Arsenal seem reluctant to pay that sort of money at the moment, perhaps with other transfer targets in mind, but if Sanchez gets that figure then he'd be catapulted into the very top earners in the world game in the Chinese Super League.
In fact, only Carlos Tevez would earn more than the forward, with Sanchez joining the former Chelsea man Oscar as the second-highest paid player in the world.
Here's the current top 10.
10. Wayne Rooney (Manchester United)
£260,000-per-week
9. Neymar (Barcelona)
£275,000-per-week
8. Graziano Pelle (Shandong Luneng)
£290,000-per-week
7. Paul Pogba (Manchester United)
£290,000-per-week
6. Hulk (Shanghai SIPG)
£320,000-per-week
5. Lionel Messi (Barcelona)
£336,000-per-week (after tax, although he's soon to sign a new deal )
4. Gareth Bale (Real Madrid)
£350,000-per-week
3. Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid)
£365,000-per-week
2. Oscar (Shanghai SIPG)
£400,000-per-week
1. Carlos Tevez (Shanghai Shenua)
£615,000-per-week
So will Sanchez join this list this summer?
Only Arsene Wenger seems to know.
