Arsenal fans have got a bad rep. And alright, we *might* have had something to do with that.

Over the years, the often-hysterical antics of the Gunners support may have made it onto pages such as this one from time to time, but all of that is about to change right now. We're going to be nice to them for once.

Because, frankly, they deserve a bit of credit.

We're not going to make a habit of being this nice (

A new study of the current top-flight sides from Free Super Tips has revealed that Arsenal have been the best-supported of those sides in the last five seasons, with their average attendances at 99.4% of the 60,355 capacity of the Emirates.

That figure comes out ahead of Chelsea's 99.1% and Manchester United's 98.8%, with 2015/16 champions Leicester fourth on 98.7%.

Without taking the increased capacities at Liverpool and West Ham into consideration, the full top 10 of the last five years looks like this.

And when it comes to the bottom 10, Premier League new boys Huddersfield Town trail a long way behind the rest on 56.7%, although if anything that only goes to prove just what a good job David Wagner has done to get them promoted.

The Terriers won their first Premier League home game against Newcastle on Sunday in front of a near-capacity 24,128 at the John Smith's Stadium, while five seasons ago they had just got promoted to the Championship.

The study looks far worse for Everton and Manchester City, who despite being regulars in the top half over the last five years have still managed to be quite far down on capacity.

City are the fifth-worst Premier League team at filling their ground, sitting on 86.6% of capacity, while Everton leave almost 10% of Goodison Park empty.

So there's work to be done for those clubs, but not for the Gunners.

Well done, Arsenal fans. It was nice to be nice to you for once.

Don't expect it to last.
