When Donald Trump does ANYTHING it is big news, but when he nominates a man with the same name as a former Arsenal striker to be his new Director of the FBI he, well, yeah, still makes big news.

Following Trump's high-profile firing of the now former FBI Director James Comey , the publicity-shy US President needs a new one, and on Wednesday he took to Twitter (obviously) to nominate the man he wants to fill Comey's presumably still quaking boots.

His name? Christopher Wray.

That's Christopher Wray.

This guy.

That's AY not EH (

He's the man Trump wants, as per the Prez's surprisingly grammatically correct tweet above, but there can't be a Premier League fan, and especially an Arsenal one, in the world who has read that name and not immediately thought of one man. One man whose name is spelt slightly differently, but pronounced the same.

That's right, it's Christopher Wreh!

Remember him? (

The Liberian was on the books at Arsenal between 1997 and 2000, and actually contributed more to the c lub's league and cup double in 1998 than you thought he did, but was still hardly considered a success at Highbury.

However, that didn't stop many minds immediately turning to him after Trump's tweet.

See:

We can't wait for Trump's next few appointments of Kaba Diawara for Secretary of State, Remi Garde for Chief Whip and Luis Boa Morte as his press secretary.

Any chance Donny?
