Graeme Souness has not been shy about criticising Arsenal this season.

Sky Sports' scariest pundit has regularly lost his temper with the Gunners during their turbulent 2016/17. After Arsene Wenger's side have appeared to go missing in big games, Souness hasn't pulled any punches, questioning their 'state of mind' and slamming their 'weak personalities'.

In short, it would probably be fair to say that the Liverpool legend is not a huge fan of the way the Gunners do things these days.

That may explain the make-up of Souness' combined Arsenal-Chelsea XI Souness, which he has picked in his latest Sunday Times column.

"Aye, that's right laddie. And what of it?" (

Ahead of next weekend's FA Cup Final, the proud Brexiteer (this will explain that reference) has named a composite line-up from the two squads.

And remarkably, he has picked only ONE Arsenal player. Ten Chelsea players… and one Gunner.

Alexis Sanchez is the lucky man to make the cut - which means, Souness believes the Chilean is the ONLY Arsenal star who could currently get into Antonio Conte's side.

"Really? Just me?" (

Not Mesut Ozil. Not Laurent Koscielny. Just Alexis.

Here's his full line-up:

"While it doesn't mean Chelsea will definitely win at Wembley on Saturday," he explains, "I reckon only one Arsenal player would make it into Antonio Conte's regular line-up.

"Alexis Sanchez would squeeze out Pedro, his former Barcelona team mate, in a combined XI."

Sure Monsieur Wenger will be in complete agreement with that assessment…
