If you'd have asked football fans this morning about where they thought James Rodriguez would end this summer's transfer window, the chances are that Bayern Munich wouldn't be near the top of the list.
The Colombian has been earmarked for the exit at Real Madrid all summer, but the general consensus seemed to be that he'd join either Manchester United or Chelsea, only for Bayern to swoop in on Tuesday afternoon and complete a two-year loan deal out of the blue.
