This is old but gold.

Romelu Lukaku has been the talk of the football world for the past week or so, with the Belgian seemingly snubbing a return to Chelsea that everyone thought was inevitable in order to join Manchester United instead.

The giant forward has established himself as a genuine Premier League goalscoring force during his time at Everton, and he's sure to bring those goals to Old Trafford as he teams up with Jose Mourinho again.

And ahead of the move, a photo from Lukaku's childhood has once again gone viral on social media.

The snap - which you've probably seen before - features the forward when he was just 13 years old, and towering over both the referee and his seemingly bemused opponent.

It really is quite glorious.

Lukaku was playing first-team football for Anderlecht just three years after this was taken, and he hasn't looked back since, scoring goals wherever he's been before this move to United.

He seemingly hasn't stopped growing either.
