Manchester United fans who were upset at the departure of the released Zlatan Ibrahimovic this summer have at least been handed the consolation of seeing Romelu Lukaku arrive at the club. Although the Belgian is much more than that, of course.
Lukaku arrives from Everton with a huge price tag but with the ability to live up to it, and he's asked to wear the No. 9 shirt for United as he bids to hit the ground running at Old Trafford.
The forward even contacted United's former No. 9 Zlatan Ibrahimovic to ask if he could take the shirt that the Swede has vacated this summer, even though he didn't need to do that as Zlatan has been released following his serious knee injury at the end of the last campaign.
But what with Zlatan being Zlatan, he obviously felt that it was something he needed to do.
