The England international's second effort was created by fellow Foxes striker Kelechi Iheanacho, although Leicester's recent new signing from Manchester City lasted only 17 minutes before leaving the field with a foot injury.

There was further bad news for Leicester when Danny Drinkwater was ruled out of the game with a thigh problem, making influential holding midfielder a doubt for the trip to the Emirates.

Meanwhile, Huddersfield Town ended their summer tour of Austria by drawing 2-2 with Torino in Jenbach earlier in the day.

David Wagner's side, who begin their first Premier League campaign with a trip to Crystal Palace a week on Saturday, fell behind to Simone Edera's strike.
