Inter Milan are targeting Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala as a replacement for Valencia target Jeison Murillo, report Sky in Italy.
Colombia central defender Murillo, 25, who had been linked with a move to Everton or West Ham this summer, is expected to arrive imminently at the Mestalla.
France international Mangala, 26, has two years left on his Etihad contract and spent last season on loan at Valencia after making 64 appearances for City following his £31.8m move from Porto in 2014.
If the Serie A side fail to agree terms with the eight-times capped Mangala, they are keen to land his City team-mate, the Belgium international defender Jason Denayer, 22.
Denayer has spent the past three seasons on loan at Celtic, Galatasaray and Sunderland.
He claimed the SPFA Young Player of the Year award, as well as the club's own Young Player of the Year whilst at Celtic Park, and made his first senior international start for Belgium against France on June 7, 2015.
Denayer, who also has eight international caps in total for the Red Devils, has yet to play a competitive game for his English club and is reportedly also surplus to Pep Guardiola's requirements.
