All the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours from across the British and European press on Thursday, January 18.

Borussia Dortmund want to take out-of-favour Arsenal frontman Olivier Giroud on loan until the end of the campaign, claims RMC.

The Bundesliga club are understood to view the France international as a temporary replacement for forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who is expected to move to the Emirates in the January transfer window.

In fact, the Sun says that Aubameyang's agent and father Pierre-Francois have flown to London to finalise his £53m move to Arsenal.

The Gunners are optimistic of signing the striker for £53.4m in January, according to Sky Sports' Spanish football expert Guillem Balague.

Elsewhere, Juventus have begun negotiations for Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin, reports in the Sun.

The Spain international, 22, is currently contracted to the north London club until the summer of 2023.

And finally, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger could miss out on the signature of in-demand Bordeaux forward Malcom, says The Times.

Wenger had viewed the player as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez, who is set to join Man Utd, but Arsenal have so far been unable to agree either a fee with the Ligue 1 club, or personal terms with the player himself.
