The Independent reports Real Madrid's proposed £160m move for Kylian Mbappe could see Gareth Bale sold to Manchester United.
Bale has made it known he is only interested in joining United if he were to leave the Bernabeu.

Jose Mourinho has given the clearest yet that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will re-sign for Manchester United, according to The Times.
The 35-year-old Swede, who is recovering from a serious knee injury, was released by United at the end of last season but Mourinho has opened the door for a return.
"We spent big money on a striker because, with strikers, you either spend or you don't get," Mourinho said.
"And we spent because of what happened to Zlatan and we cannot allow ourselves to be without an important, strong striker for the first six months of the season."
The Daily Telegraph go as far as saying Mourinho is banking on a fit Ibrahimovic to bolster United's title charge for the second half of the season.
Elsewhere, the Daily Star report United are preparing a £44.6m offer for RB Leipzig winger Emil Forsberg.
With Inter Milan playing hardball over the potential transfer of Ivan Perisic, Mourinho has reportedly highlighted the 25-year-old Sweden international as an alternative.
