Manchester United are interested in signing Tottenham left-back Danny Rose, according to the Daily Mirror.

United have reportedly turned their attention to signing the England international, despite the 27-year-old currently being sidelined with a knee problem.

Jose Mourinho has revealed Manchester United will reignite their pursuit of Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale - if he is not involved in Tuesday's UEFA Super Cup.

There have been suggestions in Spain that Madrid are willing to part company with the 28-year-old as they move for Monaco's Kylian Mbappe, giving hope to long-standing admirers United.

Mourinho recently said it would be impossible to bring in Bale, but is now prepared to pounce on any softening on their part.

"If he is on his way out of Real Madrid, well, I'll try to be waiting for him on the other side and try to fight with other coaches that would also like to have him on his team," said Mourinho.

The agent of reported United target Leander Dendoncker has revealed his client wants to leave Anderlecht.

"Anderlecht want to keep him but the kid wants a new challenge," Christophe Henrotay is quoted by Foot Mercato.

"We'll see if we can find an agreement with the club, but that seems difficult."
