We round up the latest Manchester United transfer rumours from around the British and European press on Thursday, August 10.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho still wants to sign two more players before the transfer window closes, with another bid for Inter Milan's Ivan Perisic on the cards, according to the Daily Mirror.
He also wants to sign another defender, preferably a left-back with reports continuing to link Tottenham's Danny Rose with a move to the club.
United have started talks over a new deal to bring back striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to Sky in Italy.
The 35-year-old Swede is a free agent following his release from Old Trafford at the end of last season and is battling back to fitness after suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury in April.
Meanwhile, Chelsea midfielder Willian reveals his agent held talks with Manchester United before he committed his future to the Blues.
Willian struggled under new boss Antonio Conte last season and was linked with a summer move away from Stamford Bridge.
"There were a few conversations with my agent. I worked with Mourinho and I became his friend as well," he told Goal.com.
