Marcos Rojo returned to Manchester United training on Tuesday in a further boost to Jose Mourinho's shrinking injury list.
After Luke Shaw and Ashley Young came through unscathed when they returned to action for United's reserves against Swansea on Monday night, Rojo joined the pair in training as he continues his recovery from knee ligament damage suffered in April.
Mourinho had said last month that Rojo "has no chance before December", but the Argentina international was pictured back at Carrington on Tuesday.
Shaw (foot) and Young (groin) also trained with Rojo, separate to the senior squad, despite Mourinho not expecting the pair back until at least September.
The return of Shaw and Young will increase Mourinho's options on the left flank, an area he has been keen to strengthen this summer.
United have shown interest in Inter Milan's Ivan Perisic, with Mourinho outlining his desire to add a player capable of operating at left wing back when United go to a back three.
The contracts of both Shaw and Young expire next summer but United have an option to extend each by a further 12 months.
