Germany

Chelsea and Manchester United are interested in Germany international and Liverpool midfielder Emre Can, who will be available on a free transfer next summer.

It has already been rumoured the 23-year-old will refuse to sign a new contract at Anfield, with Juventus linked earlier this summer. (Tuttosport).

Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu says Lionel Messi's father has signed a new contract for his son, with the only thing that's missing an official photograph to announce it.

Why the delay? "We have had scheduling problems," said Bartomeu. In the meantime, speculation continues to link Messi to Manchester City. (SPORT)
